Annubis Productions is casting for multiple roles for their upcoming streaming series Diakonia. The trailer for the
series is being shot this fall in Lebanon.
Castings from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. are by appointment only and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. will be open call

Characters

Ulima: Late 20s to early 30s. Black or Middle Eastern woman.
She is a thin, late twenties to early thirties Black woman. She is wearing jeans and a long flowing light brown
sweater with a hood. Ulima is cool in all situations. She has a sense of what is the right and wrong move
to make at any time. She has an almost “jedi” way about her.

Von: Middle-aged Asian man.
He is of an average build and blind. He has a discreet cane that he uses lightly when walking. He has a great faith
which gives him the ability to move confidently despite his blindness. He is NOT like the comic book character
Daredevil in any way. He can take care of himself though.

Meeka: 15-year-old girl. Any ethnicity.
She is a teen who lives on the streets. She appears to be around 15. She is thin, feisty and dirty. She visits the local
church daily to pray. The priest offers her assistance, but she always refuses. She is head strong but has great faith
despite her difficult life and what has happened to her family.

Mirielle: Middle-aged Southern woman.
Mirielle has a casual ease to her that is common with people from the south. She is hard to get excited or worked
up but there is also a sadness to her. Her husband and children were killed in a car accident. She became an
alcoholic afterward. She now leads an AA group.
Seth: Orthodox Jewish man. He is in his 80s.
Seth is a kind and welcoming older man.

Linh: Early twenties. Asian woman.
She is thin and small and has an ethereal feel to her. She can see what is going on in the spirit world. It often
distracts her.

Aaron: Polish dock worker. Man in his 40s.
Aaron is impressive in size and strength naturally but, when he is called upon, his strength grows exponentially to
meet the occasion. He is a large strong man. An actor with a Polish accent is preferred.

Emma: Late 20s woman. Any ethnicity.
Emma is a classy, well-dressed, high-end call girl.

Senator Roberts: Mid-50s man. Any ethnicity.
He is a married, mid-fifties senator with aging good looks and a passion for power, drugs and female prostitutes.
He is a rising star in the U.S. Senate.

Rafael: Mid-30s man. Preferably Hispanic but other ethnicities considered.
He is a thirty-year old drug lord who runs the city he lives in with an iron fist. The police are scared of him and his
soldiers. He does have other rivals but he is by far the most ruthless. He runs the Pandillero Cartel.

Father Thomas: Mid-50s man. Any ethnicity.
He is a fifty-year-old priest with a love for his community. He is in an impoverished neighborhood, but he strives to
lift those up around him. He is a man of God.

Henry: 15 years old boy. Any ethnicity.
He is a fifteen-year-old high school kid. He is shy and quiet. He lives in the same building as Ulima and Meeka.
